Foundation 1 and Stepping Stones
Foundation 1
We accept children the term after their 3rd birthday. New intakes take place in September, January and April, with opportunities for children to visit for a ‘Stay and Play’ session with their parents at the end of the previous term.
We follow a rich Early Years curriculum which has been specifically written for our nursery, including many opportunities for creative arts, musical activities and outdoor learning.
We offer both 30 hour and 15 hour funded places, in these three options:
- 15 hours a week in 5 morning sessions from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
- 15 hours a week in 5 afternoon sessions from 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
- 30 hours a week – full time across 5 days, 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The children bring a packed lunch – the lunchtime session costs £2 a day which is payable via termly invoicing.
Stepping Stones
We are delighted to announce that we have now been able to enhance our existing Foundation unit to provide nursery provision for two year olds from the local community both free (subject to eligibility and self-funded). If you would like to arrange a visit please contact the school office 01635 870950. Self Funded sessions are £6.25 per hour and are payable via termly invoicing.
