Art Week
Art Week and Creative Expression
Each year, pupils take part in our Art Week, providing an opportunity to explore creativity in a rich and immersive way. Through studying artists such as Yayoi Kusama and Caroline Ashwood, pupils experiment with a range of techniques, materials and styles, developing both their skills and their confidence as artists.
Art Week also provides opportunities for pupils to share and celebrate their work with others, including representing the school in local art events and competitions. These experiences encourage pupils to take pride in their achievements, support one another and recognise the value of creativity within the wider community.
As a result, pupils develop confidence, imagination and a willingness to express themselves, recognising that creativity is a powerful way to communicate ideas, reflect on their experiences and contribute positively to the world around them.
